It's that time of year to be careful as you "get social"
With almost 100% of people attending Christmas parties this season armed with a smartphone, the dangers of inappropriate social posts escalates.
I still think if someone could develop a breathalyser app you had to blow and receive a 0% blood alcohol level before being able to post, they’d make a fortune. But, in the absence of such forward thinking apps, the next best thing is to have your lawyer on speed dial.
Social Media & The Law
If your Social Media profile has any chance of looking a little like the video and image above, I think you might be interested in an event I’m scheduling for February 2015. The event will be held in Sydney around mid February. We’re looking to lock down the venue before the end of the year, but feel free to express your interest byregistering here.
The 90 minute free seminar will walk you through the various legal aspects of Social Media. If you’re a digital marketer, legal counsel, public relations expert or a marketer that is just generally wanting to be aware of the law in relation to social media, this will be a worthwhile event for you to attend.
Specific details of the speaker and venue will be announced in January.
